Thank you so much to Jennifer for her heart and passion behind creating the 30-Day Mindful Eating Challenge. She truly is a lovely woman who cares about reaching others to help them figure out their eating patterns. It’s one thing to say, we are going to cut out sugar, eat less fat and junk food, etc. because most of us know what is good for our bodies and what isn’t. The difference with this program is it’s not about WHAT you eat, rather HOW you eat it.

As a teacher, I have always been open to teaching my students new ways to learn and see, so when presented with this opportunity to learn new strategies for mindful eating, I jumped. I wanted to be open to the whole experience. I wanted to finally put myself first. It is so hard to teach an old dog new tricks, but there I was learning new tricks. This challenge made me pay attention to the foods I was putting into my body and listen to my stomach to really know if I was hungry or just bored. I would highly recommend Jennifer’s 30-Day Mindful Eating Challenge to anyone looking to recenter themselves with regards to their eating habits. If you are open to trying anything with an honest effort, you may just find yourself surprised at how you can change yourself in just a short 30 days!

Dealing with past demons isn’t something I enjoy (who does??). But it’s so important to face them and conquer them to be successful long term. Letting them rear their ugly heads again has led to falling back into old habits way too much for me. This challenge really helped me get my head back in the game.

Being mindful has made me care about what I put into my body. Before it was all about ease and taste. Now it’s about what my body needs. I actually dropped 7 pounds in 2 weeks, not that it’s the goal! I’ve just been thinking about how I eat a lot and have met and incorporated every challenge. It works!

Wow your information during the challenge is just spot on and the emotional eating is me me me. Mindless eating the kids snacks when they come home and then again before dinner. I’m looking forward to understanding this behavior more so I can create more intentional ones. I would love to have a healthier relationship with my body , spirit, and food. Thank you Jennifer for creating this easy to follow challenge!

This challenge has completely changed the way I eat and approach meals. For the first time in ages, I sit down at the table without distractions. Now I savor even the simplest food as if I was eating at a fancy restaurant. I don’t feel obligated to finish what’s on my plate anymore. i stop eating when my stomach tells me it’s full and pack up left-overs for later. By following the challenge hunger cues, I feel less stuffed and energetic after meals! I feel like I’ve recovered the full pleasure of eating, even for the simple foods!
