FRIDAY, MARCH 22
Arrive as early as 3pm with time to settle into your accommodations, unplug from the outside world, and decompress in the serene Blue Ridge Mountains with scenic, long-range views. Walk around the property or relax on the porch or soak in the 10-person hot tub. We gather at 6pm for hors d'oeuvres and festive non-alcoholic cocktails as well as our Celebration Opening Ceremony. Dine on  a farm-to-table, spring-inspired comfort meal crafted by Cassandra and Fibia at 7p while we connect together and prepare to upgrade our body software for the weekend. We will round out the evening with a Fire Ceremony to explore the power and significance of the Spring Equinox as we prepare to release food behaviors or personal patterns that no longer serve us. Rest in the peaceful mountain stillness.

SATURDAY MARCH 23
Wake up refreshed and ready for organic hot teas and fresh green juice with light bites before an energizing morning yoga and meditation with Danielle. Next we dive into another nourishing Spring-inspired plant-forward meal for breakfast. Afterwards we’ll get comfy in front of the fireplace in the living room for an interactive workshop with Jennifer on Internal Spring Cleaning; How to Nourish and Support Your Metabolism & Digestive System. We flow into another meal prepared with love for lunch followed by a Plant-Food Prep Class with Cassandra in the well-appointed chef kitchen. Enjoy downtime for nature walks or book a luxurious massage, private yoga training or nutrition consultation before another plant-crafted dinner together. We end the evening with a restorative and healing Sound Bath Therapy session with Michael to integrate the weekend retreat information into your body and cellular memory and create the perfect environment for another blissful evening of sleep in the mountains. 

SUNDAY MARCH 24 
Awaken revived and flow through the morning with another energizing yoga and meditation class with Danielle followed by a proper plant-based Sunday Brunch. We wrap up the transformative weekend with a Q&A session with Jennifer and Closing Ceremony with our new friends. Hit the road feeling upgraded. In awe of your personal evolution: renewed, refreshed, recharged, restored, rejuvenated, revitalized, and reconnected!

Ask your grandmother about the key ingredient to add into meals: LOVE! Our retreat chefs, Cassandra and Fibia, will craft every dish with love and healing vibes with plenty of wholesome, delicious snacks and treats to nourish your body all weekend.

The menu is intentionally curated using only natural, plant-based, quality ingredients that are dairy-free and gluten-free, local and organically sourced as much as possible.  

A plant-based diet improves gut health and allows better absorption of vital vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, phytochemicals, and reduces internal inflammation. Prolonged inflammation can damage the delicate cells of your body and lead to health conditions. These essential plant nutrients are not found in all foods and can help to balance the immune system and decrease your risk for cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis.

Plant fiber stabilizes blood sugar and energy levels and lowers cholesterol while cleaning the digestive system and keeps the body in balance. You can transform you health and quality of life by simply adding more plants into your diet.

As a gifted licensed massage therapist for 23+ years, Danielle understands the benefits and importance of stretching to enhance quality of life. As a 500-hour yoga teacher (500-RYT), she excels at making yoga accessible and enjoyable with her extensive knowledge of anatomy, skilled hands-on adjustments, and precise verbal cues to ensure proper positioning and alignment, using props to achieve a relaxed and comfortable experience in a nourishing environment. Her own yoga practice improved her balance and posture to support her massage career. Danielle is also a Holistic Integrated Massage Therapist specializing in Manual Lymph drainage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. She holds the highest industry credentials: Board Certification from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB). She has honed her craft at prestigious resorts including Essex Spa and Culinary Resort, Stowe Mountain Resort in New England, and upscale Georgia spas and hotels. Danielle enjoys an adventurous life in nature with her fur-child, Juno, and spouse.

Cassandra is talented in-home personal chef in Northern California and will be our resident kitchen  goddess during the Sati Spring Revival Retreat. She lovingly prepares nutrient-dense meals which makes her an obvious choice for nourishing us during our healing journey back to wholeness.  Her cooking style focuses on intuitive eating, sustainable-sourcing, and joyful, flavorful food.  Her background includes a MSc. in Health & Society from Wageningen University, health coaching certificate from the Institute of Transformational Nutrition, health and culinary arts at The Natural Gourmet Institute in New York and worked as a cake decorator, pastry cook, and baker at various restaurants including Roberta’s, ABC Kitchen, and Baked. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector at GrowNYC, City Growers, and Global Growers Network. As an undergraduate, she studied sociology and sustainability and ran a coffee cart while attending Emory University. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running marathons, and riding her bike around town in Northern Cal.

Michael is a gifted vibrational sound therapist, author, and poet. Michael has guided Sati Society members on a private sound bath journey with numerous benefits including a decreased stress, greater sense of relaxation, pain relief, improved mood and sleep, and increased body awareness and mindful ability of attuning to the body. After a long career in sound, he now works in private practice out of his home in Alpharetta, Georgia. We are blessed to have Michael perform a sound bath for us since sound healing journeys elicit the relaxation reflex in the body, slowing down blood pressure, lowering heart rate, and guiding the body into healing mode. Michael often weaves his soulful poetry into the sound bath experience, allowing his wisdom to permeate your consciousness and DNA.  He is currently working on his third book called "Dancing With The Mystery." He has two books of poetry "Dancing With The Divine" and "Dancing With The Shadows." His third book will complete his first book trilogy. He is also working on his first novel about the adventures of his recent heart health scare called "Tuning Up The Temple {Clearing the Debris}".

Fibia brings her infectious passion for nutrition and health to our weekend as our retreat liaison and kitchen assistant. In the corporate world this successful entrepreneur created a global executive search firm called Found Professionals. She loves helping people connect with their “why” and how to live a more meaningful and joyful life, making her an obvious fit for our mindfulness retreat. Additionally, Fibia infuses her contagious "joie de vive" (joy of life) effervescence into everything around her, including the plant-based meals she enjoys preparing with her husband. On top of that, she's currently studying to be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, fast-tracking a new and inspiring career to help people become their best and healthiest selves. Born and raised in Romania, Fibia moved to the United States as a young adult and now calls Atlanta her home, where she lives with her husband and their adorable cat. They both share a passion for helping others in business, a deep love of travel and an enthusiasm for living a healthy and happy life.
